Simply insert the appropriate collet; turn the nut to expand it until it takes good hold of the inner bearing race; and slide the hammer's weight towards the handle to knock out the bearing. For more delicate work, the galvanized U-shaped counterstay can be fixed and tightened to slowly pull your bearing out of place.

This slide hammer puller set includes 3 metric screw adapters to fit M6, M8, and M10 parts and 10 collets that work with axles, bearings, and bushings from 1/4 to 2-1/3 inch diameter (6-59 mm). The reinforced blow-molded case keeps everything organized and easy to transport and store.
