How do I know if this oil filter wrench set is compatible with my car's oil filter cap?
Our oil filter socket kit includes adapters with the mostly needed inner diameters (24, 27, 29, 30, 32, 36, 38, 64, 64.5 mm) to fit your oil filter cap. Simply check if the cap diameter matches the internal diameter of one of our adapters.
Can I use an impact wrench with the socket set?
No, using an impact wrench can damage the oil filter cap and the sockets. Our oil filter socket set already comes with a 3/8″ drive ratchet wrench for precise and flawless operation.

I used this blind puller tool set to remove the front output shaft rear bearing and the encoder motor control actuator lever bearing and seal from a NP246 transfer case. Worked beautifully.
The slide hammer is too light for transfer case work, but the two leg press with some wood spacers worked a treat. Most higher cost tools like this only include the slide hammer attachment, or don’t have enough sizes to cover this kind of automotive repair work. This kit is good enough quality for a great value.
Wish the case came in black plastic though. The tool quality is really the same whether the plastic case is red or blue. Probably the same import tools across all sellers too. The blue case itself is really cheap, and came slightly damaged. So one star off minor annoyance plus for the weak slide hammer. Would buy again.
Not the easiest job to tackle on a motorcycle, but this tool makes it much more manageable. At first, I thought my specific size wasn’t included—then I realized both ends flip to cover the in-between sizes. It’s a very versatile and practical tool kit. Just keep in mind that with repeated use and impact, some chipping can occur over time.
44.5 and 50mm used for rear cam set ford escape 3.0 v6 2008 model.
No clear instructions online, videos says its non serviceable, wrong! I was able to change my seal that was leaking at 225k miles.
Worked perfectly to place bearing races. Wish it came with a few larger ones. Great kit.
This adjustable rise/drop hitch works just as I had hoped. I have so many hitch assemblies configured for different drop and rise heights and different ball sizes and it is just annoying. They are all heavy and I am constantly swapping them out. This one gives me most of what I need. My truck is an odd height so sometimes I need a drop and sometimes a rise depending on the trailer so this is perfect! I also have many trailers and/or I tow many trailers so having this is invaluable. The quality is pretty good, especially for the cost of $130 at the time of purchase. This hitch is a great value and you'll only need one hitch... Unless you have a trailer with a 1 7/8 which I wish they included.
I ordered the Orion Motor Tech Vise Grip Slide Hammer to use to free the top cover on my Subaru CVT, but I when I visited the Orion store-front I saw this and thought it might allow me to use the threaded bolt hole directly with the slide hammer instead of clamping onto a bolt with the Vise Grip and possibly damaging the bracket bolt as I was planning to do. It worked well with one of the double-threaded bolts and freed the stuck, top-cover in four "hammers." And I'm sure I will use the blind hole puller attachments in the future, so I consider this a sound investment. [Note that I used a 18" pry bar on the top cover bolt and against the engine and couldn't free the cover with a lot of force, which is why I searched the Internet for a short, slide hammer...and found a solution.]
Working on an NP208 transfer case which has two bearings in blind holes. Harbor Freight kit only came with 4 collets and was only able to remove 1 of the bline-hole bearings. This kit has a much more comprehensive set of collets and made quick work of the job. Of the 3 kits I bought to pull these bearings, this was the only one that had the pieces needed to get the job done. The two-jaw puller made quick and easy work of getting the bearing out when the slide hammer wasn't getting it done.
Definitely the go-to kit for removing blind-hole bearings.
